So you are ready to graduate?
The time to begin planning for your last semester is the semester before your last semester (at the latest!) so that you have time to correct any deficiencies in your degree requirements.
FOR ALL GRADUATE STUDENTS

General steps you need to take:

Request a graduation check BEFORE your final semester.

Be sure to take advantage of the great resources available through the Graduate School Student Success Center for Thesis, Dissertation and Publication Links to an external site.. These resources include information about using the required templates ("how to format") and the submission process.

Register correctly for your Final Term.

Apply for UF graduation by the deadline.

Contact your faculty advisor early in your final term to schedule your final exam/defense/exit seminar.

Schedule your Exit Interview with the SFFGS Director or one of the Associate Directors.

Submit thesis, dissertation, and/or technical paper by the published deadlines.
