SFFGS Graduate Certificate Programs
Academic graduate certificate programs available through the School of Forestry, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences
Academic certificate programs are prescribed sets of courses that work towards specific student learning outcomes. Most of our graduate certificate programs are available 100% online, and can be taken as a standalone program or as a part of a degree-seeking program. Exceptions are noted below.

General information to keep in mind:
- All applicants must apply for admission and apply to complete
- Applicants who are also UF degree-seeking students must enroll in a certificate program before 50% of the certificate credits are earned
- Students must earn a grade of "B or better" in each course to use it towards a graduate certificate
- Standalone certificate students who earn a second failing grade may need to meet with the faculty lead before continuing in their program
- Students cannot use the same course towards more than one graduate certificate
- Students cannot earn a certificate and concentration of the same name
- Upon completion, students will receive a printed certificate from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the certificate will be noted on their academic transcript
