There are many resources to help you prepare for and find experiences in research, internships, volunteering, and jobs. 
 


SFFGS Resources 

Any general opportunities that are sent to our school are posted on our SFFGS opportunities Links to an external site.  page. Go off Book!

Not every opportunity is going to be posted on a website or advertised.  Someone may be happy to take a student on, but hasn't created a position listing. Find someone you want to work with and reach out.  Look into Informational Interviews, do your homework on their lab/organization, and then meet with them and ask questions showcasing your interests.  If they like your attitude, they may invite you to stick around! 

 

 

UF and IFAS have web portals for students to access volunteer research opportunities with UF faculty.  They will be updated anytime a faculty member adds a new opportunity to them, so check back regularly.
