Cultural Topic - Week 14

Objective

• Study the cultural content below so that you will be in a position to make and evaluate comments about it in the group activities.
  
  • Make and evaluate comments about the steps taken in Germany towards energy conservation and environmental protection (for example, how does Germany's posture towards conservation and protection of the environment compare with that of other nations, including the U.S.A.?)

Below are the cultural activities you will be doing with your group partners this week. For the purpose of being prepared for your Group activities, make sure that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with these activities, that you do any necessary groundwork in advance, and that you are prepared by the time of your Group meeting do your part of the work in an efficient and expeditious manner.

Be Prepared to do the Following:

Your overarching goal is to shed light on the importance placed in Germany on environmental concerns.  Explore the websites and prepare brief 3-5 minute reports on the most important and interesting information you are able to find on the different topics. Divide the work equitably among your group members.
