General Guidelines for Submission of Group Assignments

Guidelines for Submission of Group Assignments

Group Assignments will be found now in Assignments beginning with Week 4. The main difference will be that everything will be in the same place, namely the Group Assignment Page for the particular week. Each student will receive individual feedback and a grade.

Choose a leader!

  • Responsibility of the leader!
    • Your leader has the capability to record to the Zoom cloud and shares the link with the group members before the meeting.
    • The leader creates a folder for each Group Assignment and collects individual group members' assignments.
    • Your leader collects and organizes the all individual documents and shares them in the Zoom meeting.
    • Once the meeting is recorded, the leader copies the link into the assignment.
    • The group leader creates a single word document with all students' work to submit to the assignment page. Include the Zoom link at the top of that document.
    • If the group members are using ppts they can remain in the Homepage Files.
  • Responsibility of each group member:
      • Each individual group member will submit all of his/her work in a timely fashion in 'Files' of the Homepage of the group. The work differs somewhat for each week (see specific instructions).
        • Grammar presentations may be submitted as word docs or as ppt. Students usually present in English.
        • All sentences in German you create as part of the assignment, should be submitted as word docs  - There is a worksheet for Week 4 that the group can use.
        • Dialog questions are submitted as word docs
        • Cultural presentations are usually presented in English. (See specifics for each week).
