Module 7 : Dispatch Center Technology
This module focuses on the technologies used in dispatch centers. The text reviews concepts about evolving technology and discusses specific advancements such as geographic information systems, computer-assisted dispatching, telephony, mobile data computers, and mass dispatching.
The material also includes a discussion on the administrative functions of maintaining awareness of new technology to include evaluation and purchasing.
Finally, there is a review on data gathering and reporting.

Readings
Read Chapter 7, "Dispatch Center Technology" in the textbook.
Also, review the Project_25 article and a summary of the project.
