Module 11 : Contingency Issues-2
The readings will cover the unanticipated interruption of the communication center’s activity and discuss what considerations are needed to minimize the effect of the loss of service.
The material will also include a discussion how systems are developed to support the sudden loss of operations of a communication system.
Objectives
After completing this module, students will be able to:

- Describe the inter and intra-agency resources available during systems interruption.
- Discuss the roles of local, state, and federal agencies in successful interoperability.
- Discuss the preparedness steps necessary for effective emergency communications in a disaster.
