This assessment covers the material presented in the lectures and required readings associated with this module. Be sure you have viewed all lectures and carefully read all required readings before starting the assessment.

The questions ask you to demonstrate your ability to do the following:

  1. Write an D-type assembly language instruction to load data from memory or store a register value in memory.
  2. Write a conditional branch instruction.
  3. Write assembly language code for decisions and loops.
  4. Identify the different parts of main memory.

  • You will have up to 50 minutes to complete all 3 questions.
  • Your graded responses will be available for you to view following the submission of your completed assessment.
