Module 2: Continued
No matter how good the plan for any community may seem, the plan is only as good as the people who carry it out in the time of need. This preparation can take many forms, such as education, training, drills, table top and full scale exercises. The value of learning from past disasters and training for the future were demonstrated by the disaster of 9/11.
Objectives
After this module, students will be able to:
- Describe the value of both a Full-Scale Exercise (FSE) and Tabletop Exercise (TTX)
- List the NIMS training requirements by position
- Describe what should be accomplished from disaster training
