Course Resources
- Use Forum (our class-wide discussion board) to pose questions and give answers to your colleagues as well as to share any resources you come across.
- Use the Libellus Chartārum to review all the grammatical forms of Latin 1.
- Check out Grading Marks and Abbreviations to understand assignment corrections.
- We have on Course Reserves English Grammar for Students of Latin in case there's a grammar topic you wish to learn more about in English. Click on "Course Reserves" in the Navigation menu on the left.

- If you'd like some practice for the vocabulary quizzes and their different question types, check out Practice Quiz 1.
External Learning Aids
- If you're looking for more practice, try Magistrula Links to an external site., a free online Latin-learning resource.
- If you need a Latin dictionary, use Latinitium Links to an external site.. Their user-friendly design is the best for beginning-level students. Please don't use other dictionaries without consulting your instructor first.
- If you're struggling with verb forms, you can use Conjuguemos Links to an external site. to practice.
- If you're interested in a cultural, literary, or historical conversation, check out the Auxilia tab in some modules' Agenda or using UF Libraries Links to an external site. to search for more information on the topic.
- Rebecca Cefaratti has some helpful videos by Wheelock chapter on YouTube Links to an external site.. Be advised that I do not follow the topics in the same order nor teach in the same manner. I also haven't vetted every individual video, so be wary of that, too.
UF Classics Resources
UF Classics offers a variety of educational programs to undergraduates.

- Get a Classics Minor Links to an external site.! Completing the Beginning Latin sequence already achieves 6 of 15 required credits.

They become available early in the Spring semester. Consider applying, especially to receive financial aid for study abroad opportunities.
