Formatting Text & Media Blockquotes, Code, or Preformatted Text

Use either the Format menu in the Canvas editor or the Snippet tool in the sidebar to add text as a blockquote, programming code, or preformatted text in a mono-spaced font. The code style can be applied to individual words or phrases within a paragraph, whereas blockquote and preformatted styles apply to entire paragraphs. Both the code and preformatted styles make use of a fixed-width font.

Tip for Blockquotes, Code, or Preformatted Text

The Snippet tool can create new content in the desired format, but it cannot format existing content. Use the Format > Formats menu in the Canvas editor to format existing text as a blockquote, code, or preformatted text block.
