Formatting Text & Media Link Lists

The Link List tool creates a group of links with a variety of horizontal and vertical formatting options. It can be used to present a list of resources or to provide navigation within the page or course. Link lists are similar to link grids, but they are not part of the sidebar theme or subject to theme formatting.

 Tips for Link Lists

  1. Be selective. Try not to overwhelm students with giant lists of links.
  2. Icons in link lists are purely decorative in nature and cannot be read by a screen reader.
