Create Module Builder Templates
DesignPLUS Workflow Course Module Builder Templates
If you are planning to use the Multi-Tool Module Builder, you'll need at least one template for each content type (page, discussion, assignment, quiz) in your module pattern, and these templates must be created in the tool that corresponds to the type specified in the pattern. For the pages in the module pattern, you can use your primary sidebar template or specialized templates created for each specific page type.
For the other templates in your module pattern, the template content will be located in the instructions/prompt area of the activity. Will the instructions be broken up into sections with headings? Will the headings and some of the section text be repeated on all items of that type? If so, this content should probably be incorporated into the template.
If your module pattern happens to include more than one of any item type and the content or layout of those items will be very different, you can create separate templates for each. Alternatively, if content in these items will vary widely, you can pull the content from the primary sidebar template to give them the same look and feel, and worry about the rest later.
