Medical surge capacity is always a concern when it comes to an MCI. Read the following two documents:

  1. CDC Medical Surge Plan Download CDC Medical Surge Plan 
  2. Emergency Medical Service Pandemic Surge Protocols Download Emergency Medical Service Pandemic Surge Protocols

After reading these documents, create a document of how your agency will handle a medical surge capacity situation.

Once you have completed your search, you are requested to write a 3-5 page report to your chief about how your agency will handle a medical surge capacity situation.

  • Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx)
