New tool for Students: New Analytics

We are excited to share that Canvas’ New Analytics tool is enabled for student access! As seen in our informational video, the visual representations and data tables for grades, activity and instructor communications empower students to monitor their learning progress, identify areas for improvement and communicate more effectively with their instructors.

This is an individualized view of the New Analytics tool for instructors, which has been available for learning analytics insights. My Learning Analytics (MyLA) remains available for instructors to enable on a course-by-course basis so students can access cumulative student data analytics for norm-referencing in self-regulated learning. If you are an instructor and would like a consultation on New Analytics or learning analytics in general, please use the CITT Request Assistance form.
