User Profile

Within Canvas, you can control and personalize many of the features. At the top left of your Canvas window, click Account.

Settings

On this Settings page you will see your basic information, as well as options for contact. 

You can (and should!) also upload an avatar. It is important that you use an actual photograph of your face! The dimensions displayed will be 50x50px square. Canvas will crop and resize this for you if you upload a larger photo, but starting with a small, square image is a good idea.

Notifications

Choose Notifications from the left menu. On this screen you can set the frequency that you would like to receive notifications from Canvas about your courses. These settings are NOT course dependent; they're user dependent. Please keep Announcements on the "ASAP" setting.

Files

You have a personal repository within Canvas where you can keep files for use in your courses. You can store up to 3GB.

ePortfolios

This part of the Canvas Quest will only orient you to the location of ePortfolios, which is under your profile area. We'll go into more detail on this in a future assignment.
