CURRICULUM PLAN
Download CURRICULUM PLAN: The Curriculum Plan should include all 8 Core Courses, at least 18 credits of Approved Electives, and Planned Courses that will need to be approved by your Faculty Mentor so that the sum of upper-division (3,000-4,000) credits is at least 60 hours. These additional credits should be courses you and your Faculty Mentor agree is relevant for your career/research goals.
Step 2:
- Start work on your Curriculum Plan. Use tools in the How-To Guides & Resources to find and plan courses.
Please begin the Plan BEFORE meeting with your Faculty Mentor to discuss the additional electives that they need to approve. Don’t expect them to complete it for you. Investigate courses offerings, prerequisites, etc.
Step 3: Finalize the Curriculum Plan with your Faculty Mentor. The Approved Electives & Planned Courses page (page 3) must be signed by your Faculty Mentor to document the set of courses you've both agreed upon, based on your interests and goals for this major. You will likely want to talk you your Faculty Mentors multiple times in this process, so plan ahead and ask about their availability.

- If more space is needed use the Additional Semester Download Additional Semester page. Remember just your upper-60 credits for the major should be on your Plan, not tracking.
