PHY 2054L, Fall 2018
Physics 2 Lab Course
Welcome to Physics 2054 Lab. Our experimental focus will turn to electricity, magnetism, and light. You'll explore the principles of these interactions using a materials kit and the iOLab cart as you create charged objects, build circuits, create magnetic fields, and bend light using mirrors and lenses.
This lab will demystify these abstract ideas as you collect and make sense of your data at home. You'll work in lab groups to determine if you've correctly built your lab apparatus and experimental setup, as well as check each other's data to see if you are on the right track or need to redo the experiment. And your instructor will provide guidance and tips along the way. It should be an electrifying experience!
