Some might object to the inclusion of the Georgics on the syllabus for a class on gardens. Defend the choice. What does this poem have to do with gardens? What themes in the poem contribute to our understanding of the gardens? Drawing on one of our theoretical readings, support your thesis with evidence from the text. Quest 1 requires 1000 words for this analytical essay.
