Student groups will rehearse ahead of time and deliver a conversation entirely in Latin in front of the entire class.

Purpose: Practice conversational Latin skills.

Task: Use the framework in the document below and be sure to input the details required. Students should memorize and rehearse enough to need no script during the conversation.

Criteria: Students and student groups will be graded equally on delivery, pronunciation, length, individual participation, and their script. Refer to the rubric for more detailed information.

Directions: Students should prepare their conversation ahead of time because it will take place in the classroom. Student teams need to have a consistently theme costume (Ancient Roman or something modern). Props that match the costumes are also encouraged.

Submission: One person from your group will complete this group submission Download this group submission. They should submit the script (.doc or .docx only) in the document as prompted. Use this file and follow the directions.

 Student Groups

You'll be assigned a group (gēns) in the classroom. If you're not there that day or you forget, you should be able to find your group by navigating on Canvas to People --> Groups. You'll be assigned a new group for each conversation.
