Course Syllabus

This independent study unit is meant to be the capstone of the gifted elective course. It takes all of the fourth quarter to complete.

The modules are set up to take you through the process of completing your project step-by-step.

Future modules are locked until you complete the previous module (i.e. you cannot complete module 2 until you complete modules 0 and 1).

While much of the instruction is online, allowing you to move ahead once you understand a particular concept, days for direct instruction have been built in to the course. Please have the appropriate materials completed by that time.

There are two formatives in the form of conferences:

• topic conference
• research conference

The summative is a reflection conference.
