• Identify the resources required to conduct a confined space rescue operation.
• Describe the methods and equipment for controlling existing and potential hazards during a confined space operation.
• Identify the non-entry methods for conducting a confined space rescue.
• Define the priorities for incidents involving above-ground or belowground rescues.
• Describe the role of EMS in above-ground and below-grade ground situations.
• Identify ways that initial responders could expedite patient contact in complex rescue situations.
