Lab 4 - Resistance and Resistivity Discussion Board

Post your plot of R_L vs. L for the thin brass wire and the calculation of your percent error for the resistivity of brass from the thin wire, the thick wire, and the resistivity for nichrome wire.

Make sure you know the difference between the types of wires in your kit. Last year a few students thought the magnet wire was brass and that really caused some confusion! The magnet wire is coated with an orange-red enamel. The brass wire is the color of a brass fixture, and has a yellow-goldish hue.
