We are now at the point of the semester where students forget some of the details of a course they knew after reading the syllabus at the beginning of the semester. For this week, you are going to ask a question about the course and answer a question about the course.
- Post a question - This can be about anything: grading, quizzes, homework, final exam, etc. You will not be able to see other students' questions until you post. It is possible multiple people ask the same question. That is okay! It tells me to clarify that question in the syllabus or announcements.
-
Answer someone else's question - Answer someone else's question using a link in the course as evidence. For exam, if someone asked "How many modules do we need to master to get an A in the course?", you could:
- link to the homepage (https://ufl.instructure.com/courses/408087) and say "Under Grade Breakdown it says an A is 8 Core modules and 4 Advanced modules."
- link to the Course Grade page (https://ufl.instructure.com/courses/408087/pages/course-grade) and say "Under Grade Breakdown it says an A is 8 Core modules and 4 Advanced modules."
- link to the Progress Quizzes page (https://ufl.instructure.com/courses/408087/pages/progress-quizzes) and say "Under How Does it Affect My Grade? it says an A is 8 Core modules and 4 Advanced modules."
- link to the Student Q&As page (https://ufl.instructure.com/courses/408087/pages/student-q-and-as) and say "Under Final Grade it says to earn an A you need 8 Core and 4 Advanced for a total of 12 modules."
The point of the example above is to show the answer to the most common questions are posted in numerous places. You just need to find one link. Your best bet would be checking the homepage/syllabus or on the corresponding page linked at the top of the homepage/syllabus.
