Introduce yourself and your Avatar-Image to the Class

Reply to this Discussion Board with a brief video (instructions here) introduction of:

1) Yourself: Include where you're from, how long you've been at UF, what your major is, and a couple of other things about yourself you think it might be interesting for other people to know. Finally, say a few words about any German connections you may have (e.g. family, travel, etc.) and why you are interested in learning German. 

2) Your German Avatar-Image: You will be using this to represent yourself visually in the context of the Online Skits (click here for information) that you will be doing later this semester. Tell us its name and anything else you might like us to know about it. Place your Avatar-Image against a background image of your choice and tell us why it is there and/or what it is doing there. Make sure to attach the image about which you are talking to your discussion post so people can see it. Also familiarize yourself with the PowerPoint template for the Online Skits and post your Avatar-Image with background in the form of a single PowerPoint slide (as you need no more than this for this assignment).
