Arrange a time and meet with all your group members in Zoom and record this group work which should take ca. 20-30 minutes if everyone is prepared.

Choose one group member to create and host the Zoom conference, and the rest of the group will join the conference.

Remember, present, and evaluate information learned about the cultural topics (in English).

Overview

This group activity deals with the cultural topics:

• German philosophy
• German political and economic systems

There are two parts to the groupwork this week:

1) Cultural Topic Presentations

3) Final Preparation Session for your Online Skit for Kapitel 6 due end of this week

There is no Google Doc Worksheet to be submitted for this week. Instead, be sure to upload the link to your recorded Zoom meeting.

1. Cultural Topic Presentations

Using the screen-share function in Zoom, each group member should present in English their PowerPoint presentation on one of this week's cultural topics (German Philosophy; the German Political and Economic Systems). Try to make your presentation interesting for your audience (i.e. don't read it). You do not have to submit your PowerPoint document, just use it in your recorded zoom meeting. (ca. 5-7 minutes per presentation).nal site.) 

2. Final Preparation Session for Kapitel 6 Online Skit

Skit script

Open your group's script draft so it is visible to this meeting's participants. By this point in time every individual group member needs to make sure they have incorporated the required grammatical structures they want to use in their part of the skit. Go over the skit draft now together as a group and make any needed corrections jointly. Make sure you end up having your finished, clean version of your group's skit in the Online Skit Script Google Docs Links to an external site. (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.) worksheet in the designated place, and designate one of your group members to upload this into the Online Skits Assignment for this chapter before the deadline.

Skit recording

Make plans for the skit's final video performance and posting the link to your performance.  For the latter purpose, when the time comes, designate someone in your group to post the link to your recorded performance of your Online Skit to the Kapitel 6 Online Skits and Comments Discussion Board before the deadline.

Zoom Conference Instructions

How to Create/Host or Join a Zoom Conference:

1. Group needs to pick a time to meet
2. Make sure your group has chosen a meeting host
3. Meeting host needs to go to Zoom at ufl.zoom.us (Links to an external site.) and follow these steps:

• click UFL sign in
• Copy personal meeting room ID and share with group members
• Everyone clicks that link at the meeting time
• Meeting host clicks Record to Cloud when everyone is present.
• When you are finished, meeting host clicks End Meeting

To submit your recording and group work:

1. Meeting host will receive an email link with the Zoom cloud recording
2. Copy and paste the website url for your Zoom cloud recording into this assignment before the deadline.
