Course Introductions

Introduce yourself to the other students and tell us who you are, your career path, things you enjoy doing and  what you hope to gain from taking this course.

I am your instructor, Denise Pouget. I have actively served in Fire and Emergency Services for 42 years. I am currently a Retired Fire Chief from the Washington Metropolitan Area. I am currently an Emergency Management Specialist and I still maintain my Paramedic status. I have two children and three grandchildren. As your instructor, I hope to gain insight from evaluating your perspectives on managing Emergency Medical Services in 2023. My career spans over four decades. I have seen a lot of change. I am excited and very interested to listen to what you have to say and share some of the things I have learned about over the years with you.
