Instructions
We have experienced a number of active shooter events in the United States, and for that matter, around the world, there have been terrorist events. This discussion will hopefully give you a head start on preparing for such a tragedy and how it will be handled. Select an active shooter event within the United States to present to the class as your initial discussion reply.
Be sure to include the following information in your initial original post submission.
- Any graphics that help to portray the incident
- Identify the number of injured and deceased
- Evaluate what went well with the response
- Evaluate what went badly with the response
- What can you learn from this incident?
Provide critical feedback and reply to at least two other student's posts, questioning any information provided or adding your recommendations. Saying good job or great information is not critical feedback. Discussions are meant to be discussions with back-and-forth dialogue. See the syllabus for a reminder of expectations for participation in all course discussions.
